Absolute treat for anyone interested in traditional Indian art and craft. This place serves as a store as well as museum/ gallery, in the sense that you can buy stuff or just browse through their fascinating collection with the storekeepers eager to explain the background and significance of each artform. During our visit (10.08.23, Thursday) we were walked through by Anupama, Lakshmi and Bharat Kumar who were very knowledgeable and polite. **The store has three floors WITH ELEVATOR as well as stairs. Ground floor is for handloom and textile, first for paintings and second for handicrafts. **GiTAGGED gives due recognition to the artisans working with them. If you visit, ask the storekeepers about the interesting way that artisans work with the store, the selection process, etc. **We were also shown the raw materials for some of the paintings, the canvasses and other media, the tools, etc which was inspired an even deeper respect for the artwork.

This store is not just a shopping outlet but a library of Indian art and culture under one roof. A must visit whether you’re an art collector/ enthusiast or not, just to understand how rich Indian culture is while checking out some of the coolest stuff made by talented family of artists who’ve been making art through generations. The staff are equally amazing and will passionately explain the details of the art and respectfully introduce the artists which is truly beautiful. An overall superb experience visiting the store. Also a must visit for children to get an experience of our art and culture so it’s not just limited school text books.

Appreciate the efforts to make available those many gi tagged products across the country at one place. While talking to them came to know that they procure those items from artisans and producers directly without any middle men and kept the price tag of whatever the price artisans quoted + their margin. I don't know the prices of many items there, but for the products I knew were reasonably priced. I felt like they were a good buy without being doubtful of authenticity. If you calculate your efforts to find those products on your own and buying it would add up to your cost.
